WPP Creating the Next Generation of Leaders
WPP Creating the Next Generation of Leaders
The Aim of the Programme
WPP is the world leader in communications services, with leading companies in advertising, media investment management, consumer insight, PR, direct, digital, promotion and relationship marketing and specialist communications.
WPP needed a programme to help build the next generation of leaders. They needed to deepen the pool of business and commercial knowledge and skills within the management group – and do so in a way that would fit the culture and very high expectations of senior creative executives.
The Solution
Imparta and WPP developed a Business Sense suite of workshops covering Business Strategy, Commercial Acumen, Marketing, Leadership, Business Development and Working Across Cultures. WPP selected Imparta to deliver compelling learning to their upcoming talent. The workshops focus on applying theory and best practice to the delegates’ client or internal management contexts so delegates receive immediate value from their participation.
The programme includes many digital elements, including computer-based simulations, case studies, and online learning and reinforcement, to avoid the traditional ‘chalk and talk’ approach. The workshops have been successfully delivered in Europe, the USA, South America and Asia – demonstrating the relevance and cultural fit in multiple markets.
The course was great. I’ve found that it’s changed how I think by opening my eyes to the broader business issues faced by the client.
